Eleanor Cammorato, age 78, of New Egypt died Wednesday, July 18 at RWJ University Medical Center in Hamilton. Born in Kingwood, NJ, she had been a resident of New Egypt for 31 years and formerly of Cream Ridge and Scotch Plains. In the 1950?s Eleanor had worked for the General Electric Company. Wife of the late Carmen Cammorato, who died in 2004, she is survived by two sons, Thomas Cammorato of New Egypt and Gary Cammorato and wife Lynn of Virginia; a daughter, Jane Becker Cammorato of New Egypt; five grandchildren, Jeffrey Becker and wife Carolina of Kew Gardens, Queens, NY, Stacy Becker of Manchester, Nicholas Cammorato of Boston, MA, and Geena Cammorato and Gregory Cammorato, both of Virginia; a great granddaughter, Ariella Flanagan of Manchester and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 25 at 11:30 AM at the Chapel of the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road in Wrightstown. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, July 24 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com).
