Obituary of Dorothy Ann Chamberlain

Please share a memory of Dorothy to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Dorothy Ann Chamberlain, age 84, of Pemberton, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Saturday, September 02, 2017 at home. She was born in Throop, PA on February 3, 1933 to the late John and Mary Chisik. Dorothy married Richard Chamberlain after high school. The two then married and had seven children. In 1977 they moved from Levittown, PA to New Jersey. Dorothy dedicated her life not only to her husband, but also to caring for her children. She was a very loving and warm woman. Dorothy was beyond generous and would do anything for anyone in need. She lived for the moments she could spend with her family, especially her grandchildren. The holidays and family gatherings were also something she looked forward to year after year. Dorothy had a love for her cats and Elvis. She was an adored wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed.

Dorothy is predeceased by her parents John Chisik and Mary Chisik (nee Ostringa), her husband Richard Chamberlain, Sr., her son-in-law Roy Villipart and her two sisters Joan Venose and Mary Mytovitch.

She leaves behind her adored children, Richard Chamberlain, Jr. of Westampton, Dorothy Villipart of Cream Ridge, Maryann Laquaglia of Westampton, John Chamberlain of Riverside, Robert Chamberlain of Hainsport, Patrick Chamberlain of Pemberton and Thomas Chamberlain and his wife Megan of Tabernacle; and his nine grandchildren,  Stephanie Laquaglia, Nicholas Chamberlain, Christian Villipart, Tyler Chamberlain, Hanna Chamberlain, Luke Chamberlain, John Chamberlain, Lily Chamberlain and Olivia Chamberlain.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 9AM to 11AM with a funeral service at 11:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt NJ 08533.
