Karen L. Hance, age 32, of Wrightstown died Tuesday, November 21 at her residence. Born in Ridgewood, NJ, she had been a resident of Manchester Twp. before moving to Wrightstown 9 years ago. Karen was a representative for the Better Business Bureau in Hamilton. She also was a former school bus driver for the Plumsted Township and the North Hanover Township schools and formerly was a pre-school teacher for the Ocean Inc. Headstart Program, the Manchester Headstart and Bright Horizons in Freehold. Karen was a member of the Plumsted Presbyterian Church in New Egypt and was an Avon and Mary Kay Representative. She is survived by her husband, Roger Hance; her mother, Suzanne Soto of Galloway Twp., NJ; her father Francisco Soto of St. Claire, PA; a brother, Frank Soto & wife Laura of Woodstock, GA; a sister, Patricia Conti & husband Jonathan of Little Egg Harbor; an aunt, Carmen Soto of Tampa, FL; an uncle, William E. Brown II & wife Josephine of Pompton Lakes; a great aunt, Genevive Lindeberg of Paramus; her mother-in-law, Marion Hance of New Egypt; a brother-in-law, David Hance of New Egypt; her beloved niece, Shelby Suzanne Conti of Little Egg Harbor and many friends. Funeral services will be held of Saturday, November 25 at 11:00 AM at the Atkinson Hall of the New Egypt Methodist Church on Fort Avenue in New Egypt with Rev. Doris Cowan, officiating. Calling hours will be on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Atkinson Hall. Interment will be in Jacobstown Cemetery in Jacobstown. Memorial contributions in Karen?s memory may be made to St. Jude?s Children?s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
