Cousin Scotty . . . .
I was thirteen when you were born, so, to me, you have always been the baby of the family. I still remember eating pancakes in the kitchen in Morganville, smelling the sweet smell of breakfast, and seeing you there, vying for your Mom's attention. :)
With the age difference between us, I was not up on what was happening in your life: your milestones, your achievements, your work and family life. Well, even your location! Just knew you were down there in Jersey somewhere.
Fast forward to 2021. I had the pleasure of your company and time to catch up a bit at Dawn & Mike's home. I found you to be a gentle, funny and honest young man. You have ALWAYS been a "young man" to me! We had some time to chat and I got a little glimpse in to your passions, your energy, and your wonderful sense of humor. I encouraged you to start a podcast that featured the things you told me that you were into.
Kudos to you for being a wonderful caretaker and housemate to your Dad. I am sure you guys developed a wonderful relationship with each other.
Anyway, Cousin, may you rest in peace. Your spirit lives on!
With much love and sadness,
Cousin MaryBeth (I love that you guys all still call me that!)
God bless you and keep you!
