Cynthia A. Meehan (Wells), age 77, of Browns Mills and formerly of Columbus, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. She was born in Montreal, Canada to the late Hugh Bigg and Maxine Baird on August 27, 1941. Cynthia worked as a Veterinary Assistant for Dr. Adams for several years before joining her husband Thomas as a horse trainer and owner at T & C Stables. Cynthia had a love for all animals, especially horses, cats and dogs (Great Danes, Corgis and her childhood pet Pluto). Cynthia was a wonderful cook and enjoyed sharing that gift with everyone. She loved to entertain friends and hosting family gatherings. She also enjoyed horseback riding, camping, fishing, target shooting, crafts, doing puzzles and shopping at flea markets and craft fairs. Cynthia was adventurous, kind and caring. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be sorely missed.

Cynthia is predeceased by her father, Hugh Bigg; her mother Maxine Baird; her step father Edward Moe; her husband Thomas James Meehan II; her ex-husband Henry Leon Wells; and by her daughter Nadine Wells.

She leaves behind her son, Laurence Wells and wife Terry and step-daughter Abbie all of Bound Brook; her daughter, Karen Wells of Hamilton; her stepson,  Thomas J. Meehan III of Tinton Falls; her former daughter-in-law, Rita Nacchio of Hightstown; her six grandchildren, Nicholas Wells and fiancé Cure McKenzie, Chrystal Meehan, Shawn Meehan, Samantha Wells, Rachel Ralston and Christopher Ralston; her two great-grandchildren, Adrian Wells and Dominic Bilyeu; and her dear friends, Bob and Clara Koty, Jeanne and Nick Tomlinson, Joann and Marvin Maker, Robert and Marie Hutson and Lee Chambers, Laura Dunkley and many others.
