Don H. Foster, age 73, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020 at home. He was born in Florenceville, New Brunswick ,Canada to the late Ralph and Viola (Morell) Foster on August 8, 1946. Don retired from AAA Trucking and had a love for working on cars and painting. He was a proud US Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War and a member of the AM VETS Post 2. Don was a dedicated and humble family man. He loved spending time with and being around his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed. Don is predeceased by his parents and his siblings Clifford, Elizabeth, Roberta, Beatrice, Gertrude, Lou, Harold and Irene. He leaves behind his beloved wife Catherine (Engler) Foster of New Egypt; his children, Missy Foster and fiancé Frank McElwee of Toms River, Donnie Foster and wife Sandra of Clarksburg; Gary Foster and wife Lindsay of Robbinsville and Tom Dansbury of New Egypt; 6 grandchildren, Daniel, Don, Jason, Randy, Kyle and Brianna; 1 great-grandchild, Emma Syke; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, January 27, 2020 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Tilghman Funeral Home, located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533. Interment will follow at the Brig. General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Don’s memory to the Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey located at 825 Georges Road, North Brunswick Township, NJ 08902.
