Patsy A. Tollefson, age 73, of Browns Mills, formerly of Chesterfield, NJ and California, passed away on April 18, 2020 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly. She was born in Merced, California on December 9, 1946 to the the late Henry and Mary (Maisano) Davis. Patsy was a member of the Cookstown VFW Auxiliary, Young at Heart in Cookstown, North Hanover Seniors club, Cookstown Seniors, and the American Legion Auxiliary in Merced, CA. She loved playing bingo, enjoyed baking and cooking, especially making candy and cookies which she shared amongst family and friends. Patsy was also an active participant of “Miller Strong Team” for the American Cancer Society. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend that will be deeply missed. Patsy is predeceased by her parents; her beloved husband Wayne Tollefson; and two brothers. She is survived by her son, Art Tollefson (Nicole Gadbois) of Chesterfield, NJ; her daughter Sandra Tollefson (Gene Hamill) of Merced, CA; her five grandchildren, Wayne Tollefson Jr., Jeffery Tollefson, Eric Hulbig, Steven Tollefson, and Curtis Hamill; her eight great-grandchildren, Jeffery, Travis, Jaxen, Abby, Dylan, Gavan, Emma, and Eric Jr.; her brother Jack Davis and wife Geraldine of Ceres, CA; her sisters, Alameda Briggs of Merced, CA, Jane Hickman and husband Ed of Merced CA, Barbara Barker of Winton, CA, Elota Davis and husband Jerry of LeGrand, CA, and Sarah Lambert and husband Rodney of Winton, CA; and many nieces and nephews. Due to current restrictions, funeral services and burial in the Brig. General William C. Doyle Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Patsy’s memory to American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).
