We just received the notice of Andy's passing. I hope this not too late. The Marines of Mike Co. 3rd Battalion First Marines did not know him as Andy. To us he was "Doc" Kasony, our Navy Corpsman. Doc took care of his Marines, and his Marines took care of him. He was a quiet, unassuming man, and fearless under fire. We all knew that if we were hit, Doc Kasoney was coming out to get us, no matter the risks. It was an honor and a privilege to serve with him, under difficult circumstances.
Semper Fi, Doc

It was with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Andy a former classmate at St. Francis High School. We shared a dorm room(3H) during our sophomore year. Andy was a fun guy, great basketball player and a trusted and always helpful classmate. Though many years have passed since we last were in contact, the fond memories and good times at St. Francis will remain forever. Andy was the true Red Raider!
My deepest condolences to Andy's family and friends and may his memory be a blessing to us all.

Barbara,
We are so very sorry for your loss. Loved taking to Andy. He is a great man and friend. Loved going to the Phillies Games with him and George. We had a lot of laughs together. He will be truly missed by all that knew him and loved him.
May he Rest in Eternal Peace wrapped in God’s loving arms.

My condolence to Andy's family and extended family. I knew Andy from our years growing up in our close-knit Trenton neighborhood. Among other things, we played a lot of basketball on the playground (and for some reason, I have a vision of him as a kid shooting hoops wearing a Villanova sweatshirt). In our much later years, I looked forward to seeing him at our group luncheons, most recently, last fall, before he left for Florida. I am grateful for his generosity and ambition in arranging and providing for the annual tailgates to the Phillies game. Andy was a straight-forward, honest, and down-to-earth guy. He will be missed. May he rest in peace.

I am sorry to hear about Andy. He was a good friend whom I knew since St. Stanislaus grammar school. We played together in the parish youth basketball leagues, and spent summers hanging out at the Chestnut neighborhood playground creating many good memories. Andy will always be in my thoughts. I will remember as a special person.
