Terry C. Hoffman, age 73, of Cream Ridge, passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Capital Health Medical Center in Hopewell. He was born in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia on December 21, 1951 where he lived until moving to Brunswick, Maryland and eventually to Cream Ridge where he had made his home for the last 20 years. Terry worked as Carpenter with Bob Farrand Home Improvements for several years, before having to retire this past year. He was an avid sports fan always excited to watch his Phillies and Eagles play. He was selfless and giving always ready to lend a hand to anyone who needed one. Terry was a loving husband, step-father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Terry is predeceased by his parents, Austin and Catherine (nee Bell) Hoffman, and David and Phyllis Ingram; a sister Glenda Ainsworth; his step daughter Kristy (nee Rogers) Stinson, nephews Adam and Jonas; and a granddaughter Abigail Stinson. He leaves behind his loving wife, Michele Hoffman of Cream Ridge; two stepsons David Rogers Jr. of Cream Ridge, Daniel Rogers and wife Jamie and stepson-in-law Richard Stinson all of New Egypt. His sisters Rita (Rick) Sword of Maryland and Bobbi Jo (Todd) Gloyd of West Virginia. His brothers Barry (James) Hoffman of Maryland, Jon Ainsworth of West Virginia and Robert (Sue) Ainsworth of Pennsylvania; several nieces, nephews and grandchildren ,cousins; and his dear cousin Debbie Short and husband Stephen. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 11AM to 2PM at Tilghman Funeral Home located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533. A funeral service will begin at 2 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
