Pearl L. Papp, age 80, of East Windsor passed away Thursday, March 27 at Accela Care in Hamilton. Born in Lakewood, NJ to the late Clifford and Lelia (Goff) Hopkins she was a resident of East Windsor for the past 28 years and formerly of New Egypt. Pearl was a retired bank teller, most recently with Fulton Bank in Hamilton Twp. and earlier in her career she was employed as a machine operator with Waterbury Products in Hightstown. She was a member of DeBows United Methodist Church in Jackson and she taking walks, baking, traveling and reading mystery novels. But most of all, Pearl loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents, a brother, Harry Hopkins and a sister, Leona Edgar. Pearl is survived by her beloved husband of 37 years, Julius L. Papp, Jr.; a daughter, Angie Turner and husband Peter of Jackson; two sons, Angelo Rodriguez of Aberdeen, NJ and Rick Rodriguez and wife Deanna of New Egypt; a brother, Kenny Hopkins of Toms River; four grandchildren, Melissa Revinski and husband Tom, Kyle Turner and wife Kaitlin, Jenna Rodriguez and Julia Rodriguez; four great grandchildren, Luke, Henry, Scarlett and Kieran and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Pearl will be held on Wednesday, April 2 at 12:00 Noon at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533 with burial to follow in Zion Cemetery on Lakewood Road in New Egypt. Calling hours will be on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM until noon at the funeral home.
