Virginia Eldridge Huffman, 87, of Browns Mills, NJ, joined her husband Jack Arnold Huffman in Heaven on April 4, 2025. She was one of three children and was born to Jack Eldridge and Mary Bennett on January 1, 1938. She graduated from Pemberton Twp. High School in 1956 and went on to work for the DCPA at Ft. Dix as a Budget Analyst. The Post (Ft. Dix) celebrated her many years of dedication with an article entitled 'Budget Whiz Steps Down after 47 Years.' She enjoyed crocheting, the shore, shopping, spending time with her family, strolling the boardwalk, her Presbyterian church family, and her dogs & cats. Virginia was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Eldridge of Wrightstown; and by one sister, Janice Dale of Glendale, AZ. She is survived by her sister, Kathy Bennett of Goldsboro, NC; her daughters, Nancy Domico (Rick) of Browns Mills and Elaina Weeks (John) of Bordentown; her son, David Huffman (Jane) of Smyrna, DE; eleven grandchildren, Christopher, Julia, Rachel, Allison, Brandon, Brianna, Bradley, Frank, Thomas, Ashley, and Lindsey, 28 great-grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, April 14, 2025 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Tilghman Funeral Home located at 52 Main Street New Egypt, 08533. A funeral service will begin at 1 PM at the funeral home with interment to follow at 2:00pm at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery located at 350 Province Line Road Wrightstown, 08562. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to charity of your choice.
