Joan Winifred Husenitza (Emery), age 99 of Glassboro, New Jersey passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025. She was born in Long Branch, New Jersey on November 14, 1925, to Wellington and Etta Emery. Joan worked as a secretary for the Red Bank Methodist Church for many years and in later years worked for the Multiple Listing Service. She worked hard as a single mother, raising her 4 children and loved camping and was always happy. She loved life, often said, not sure why I am still around but I just do not want to die yet. Probably a factor in living to 99.5 years. Joan was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, Aunt and friend. She will be greatly missed. Joan is survived by her children, Alan, Robert, Gail, and Ellen (Edward); her 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service for Joan on Monday, June 2, 2025 at 11 AM at BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery located at 350 Province Line Road Wrightstown, NJ 08562 .
