Bernice Green February 1, 1949 – May 20, 2025 Bernice Green, age 76, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on May 20, 2025, after courageously living with liver cancer for five years. Her deep devotion to Jesus and her lifelong commitment to the church were the foundation of her life and legacy. Bernice was born on February 1, 1949, and married the love of her life, David Green, on June 9, 1968. Together they built a beautiful life and raised three children: Kathy (Scott) Sadler of Elizabeth, IL; Joanne (James) Hurley of Woodsville, NH; and DJ Green. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Jessica (Russel) Prier, Dylan (Amber) Sadler, James Hurley, and Cheyenne Hurley, and a delighted great-grandmother to Declan Sadler, Derek Sadler, and Charlotte Prier. Bernice is preceded by her husband David Green; her son, DJ Green; her siblings Joe Phillips, Marge Phillips, and David Atz. She is survived by Fannie Busch, Carl (Betty) Atz, Roscoe Webb, Harvey (Janice) Webb, and Evelyn (David) Bernard, along with many beloved nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 10 AM at Jacobstown Baptist Cemetery located on Jacobstown Arneytown Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
