Jennie Stelljes, age of 92, of Milton, Delaware passed away on May 22, 2025 in Hamilton. Born in Freehold, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Mary (Leibitz) Rofulowitz. Jennie graduated from Freehold High School in 1951 and married John H. Stelljes the same year. Jennie lived in New Jersey most of her life before moving to Delaware in 1992. Jennie worked in the kitchens of C.B. Lamb Elementary School and Northern Burlington County Regional High School until her retirement. She enjoyed cross-stitching, crocheting, canning, and baking breads to hand out to people she knew. Jennie is predeceased by her beloved husband of 73 years, John H. Stelljes, her son Harold Stelljes, her parents, Jacob and Mary Rofulowitz; her siblings, Adam Rofulowitz, Benny Rofulowitz, David Rofulowitz, and Joseph Rofulowitz. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Kathy Stelljes of New Egypt, NJ; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Jennie are being held private at the convenience of the family. All arrangements are under the direction of Tilghman Funeral Home, New Egypt, NJ.
