David L. Forsyth, Sr. age 69 of New Egypt, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at home. He was born on August 20, 1955 to Harry and Doris (Potts) Forsyth in Trenton, NJ. A lifelong New Egypt area resident; Dave enjoyed the outdoors; fishing, farming, tractor pulls, and riding motorcycles. He was a skilled mechanic who could fix just about anything. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Dave worked at Hallocks Farm in New Egypt for many years. Predeceased by his parents, and his sister Janet Mefford; Dave is survived by his son David Jr. and his wife Ashley, his daughter, Holly Breese and her husband Bob; his brothers, William (Barbara) and Harry; his sister, Diane Forsyth; and his grandchildren, Riley, Hayley, David, Baley, Brinley, Bobby, Kaylee, Shelby, Lyla, Nathaniel and Calvin. Services will be held privately. All arrangements are under the direction of Tilghman Funeral Home, New Egypt.
