Deborah A. Majzer 71, of Browns Mills and a long time resident of New Egypt passed away on Thursday July 24th at Virtua Mt. Holly Hospital. She was born on July 14th 1954 in Lakewood to the late Robert and Grace Southard (Hurley) Debbie loved her Sudoku puzzles, a good game of Uno, her dogs Bree and Bella, working in her yard when she was able, and going to the beach. She loved the holidays and decorating for Christmas and hiding her famous Steelers elf for all the grandkids to find. One of her favorite things to do was going to The Dollar Tree and Walmart, where she could stroll the aisles for hours. She was never one to pass up a good after Christmas sale. Nothing surpassed the love she had for her family. She spent 45 wonderful years with the love of her life, Robert (Stretch). They spent 3 years stationed in Germany, where she developed her love for travel and the culture. You could usually find them on date nights at Applebees or Sebastian’s Schnitzelhaus. Debbie took pride in her role as mother to Duane, Melissa, Tim, and Bobbi Jo. She never missed an opportunity to spend time with her grandkids. She especially loved going to the beach and having sleepovers. They were one of her greatest joys in life! She will be forever missed by her grandkids Morgan, Gaige, Aubrey, Landon, Aria, Mariah, Raelynn, Katie and Alex. Debbie is predeceased by her parents Robert and Grace Southard, and her brother Robert “Red” Southard, and her dog Precious Marie. She leaves behind her loving husband Robert, her four children, Duane Nixon, Melissa Jones and husband Larry, Tim Majzer and wife Lisa, and Bobbi Jo and her husband Ray.
