Margaret F. “Peggy” Newman, age 72, longtime resident of Lawrenceville, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025. She was born on November 24, 1952 in Trenton, NJ to the late Willard and Marion Stuller. Peggy loved watching the Philadelphia Eagles games, Chicago P.D., Law & Order SVU. She enjoyed listening to music. Peggy liked to color and do word searches. She always had to have her cigarettes, and if she did not she was not your friend. Peggy was sweet lady inside and out. To know Ms. Peggy was to love her. Peggy is predeceased by beloved husband, Charles C. Newman, Jr.; her parents, Willard and Marion Stuller; and her brother Jady Stuller. She leaves behind her daughter, Helen Newman; her brother Willard Stuller, Jr.; her nieces and nephews, Daniel Stuller, Michael Stuller, and Dawn Stuller; her extended family, Breasia Whitaker, Ebony Gussin, her “Basketball Star” Ja-Cear Whitaker, Mike and Denise Durkin, Miracle Barnes, LeAsia Roberts, Massiah White, Zeriah Delee, Quadera Payne; her grandchildren, Unique Roberts, Sha-Vonda Roberts, Joseph Delee, and Josiah Delee; and her best friend Vivian. Family and friend are invited to attend a graveside service for Peggy on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 10 AM at Emley’s Hill Cemetery located on Burlington Path Road, Cream Ridge, NJ 08514. All arrangements are under the direction of Tilghman Funeral Home located in New Egypt, NJ
