Narice A. Moore, age 96, of Whiting and formerly of New Egypt passed away Tuesday, October 21 at The Pines Long Term Care in Whiting. Born in Hornerstown on April 22, 1929 to the late Samuel and Neva (Oakerson) Amburgey. She was a resident of New Egypt before moving to Whiting six years ago. Narice was employed by the First National Bank of New Egypt, the Bank of Mid-Jersey and the McGuire Credit Union before retiring. She was very active in the community. Narice was a life member of Deborah, a member of the New Egypt Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, a member of the New Egypt American Legion Post 455 Auxiliary and a member of the New Egypt United Methodist Church. Narice was predeceased by her son, Craig Moore and her brothers and a sister-in-law, Terry Amburgey and Bart and Janet Amburgey. She is survived by four children; Vicki Feo and husband Steve of Andover, MA, Neil Moore and wife Sue Lin of Eastampton, NJ, Glenn Moore and wife Patti of Browns Mills, NJ and Jill Moore of Browns Mills, NJ; seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Narice and burial in Cream Ridge Cemetery will be held at a later date. Please check our website for an update.
