Carl F. “Bucky” Flanders, age 73, longtime resident of Cream Ridge, passed away peacefully at home on November 3, 2025. He was born in Paris, France on May 13, 1952 to the late Carl “Capt” and Catherine Blanche “Ms. Kitty” Flanders. Bucky worked for the Department of Corrections as a business manager. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Bucky was an avid outdoors man who loved hunting and fishing. He was also into wresting. Bucky was a talented singer who loved singing to his family. He loved and cared for his grandchildren and children.
Bucky was a member of the New Egypt Coin Club, and was a son of the New Egypt VFW. He was a Past Master of the Pyramid Lodge and also a 33rd degree Mason. Bucky was a Past Patron of Sphinx Chapter #130 of Eastern Star, and a member of the Hightstown Woodruff Rod & Gunning Club.
Bucky is predeceased by his parents, Carl “Capt” and Catherine Blanche “Ms. Kitty” (nee Dorman) Flanders; and his sister, Darla Monkee Rawlston. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 50 years, Ruth Flanders; his two daughters, Jennifer Flanders, and Pamela Flanders; and his three grandchildren, Johnny Carl Consuegra, Samantha Lynch, and Hailey McCaig.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on Friday, November 7, 2025 from 5 PM to 7 PM at Tilghman Funeral Home located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533, with a funeral service starting at 6:30 PM Friday night. Visitation will continue on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 10 AM to 10:30 AM with interment to follow at Cream Ridge Cemetery located on Burlington Path Road.
