Obituary of Paul B Wooding, Jr.

Paul B. Wooding, Jr., age 86, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at the Masonic Home located in Burlington, NJ. He was born in Mt. Holly on September 7, 1939 to the late Paul and Ethel Wooding. He grew up in Mt Holly, NJ on his family’s dairy farm and was a final class graduate of the original Pemberton high school in 1957. A proud veteran, Paul served honorably in the United States Army. During his service he taught English at a Japanese language school while stationed in Japan in the early 1960’s Paul was the co-founder and sole owner of Southampton Imported Cars in 1966. Since his retirement in 2006, he enjoyed racing and restoring sports cars. He supported his sons continuing his business, building and racing cars. Paul is predeceased by his parents, Paul and Ethel (nee Stevenson) Wooding, and his siblings, Virginia, Elden, and Merritt. He leaves behind his two children, Paul B. Wooding III, and Collin E. Wooding. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 from 10 AM-12 PM at Tilghman Funeral Home located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533. Interment will take place at BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery located at 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Paul’s name to the Popcorn Park Animal Refuge (https://ahscares.org/popcorn-park/) or 1 Humane Way, Forked River, NJ 08731.
