Rodney Lee Goos, age 58, lifetime resident of New Egypt, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025. He was born on August 5, 1967 in Trenton, NJ to Phillip and Janet Goos. Rodney had a passion for Hot Wheels cars and enjoyed watching Dukes of Hazzard, John Wayne, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the news. He cherished McDonald’s as a special treat and was known for his caring and loving nature towards everyone he met. Rodney is predeceased by his father, Phillip Goos. He leaves behind his mother, Janet (Pancoast) Goos; his two siblings, Randolph Lee Goos, Sr. and his wife Melissa, and Roxanne L. O’Brien and her husband, John; his nieces and nephews, Rebecca L. Goos, Maura L. Zuba and husband Jeff, Randolph L. Goos, Jr. and wife Joslyn, Robert L. Goos, Johnny H. O’Brien; and his great niece and nephew, Aubrey E. Goos, and Randolph L. Goos, III. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Rodney on Monday, December 8, 2025 from 11 AM to 12 PM at Tilghman Funeral Home located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533. A funeral service will begin at 12 PM at the funeral home with interment to follow at North Crosswicks Cemetery.
