Obituary of Timothy S. "Paper Boy" Malloy

Timothy “Paper Boy” Malloy, age 60 of Cookstown, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. Born on June 11, 1965 to Donal and Patricia Malloy in Trenton, NJ, Tim was a lifelong resident of Cookstown. Tim worked as a heavy equipment operator for Boro Construction for many years. He was a lifelong hard worker, an avid golfer and loved playing softball. Tim was a highly accomplished softball player for many teams, including the GameCocks and the Hardliners. He was a cherished son, brother, dad, uncle, grandpop, and friend who will be greatly missed. Predeceased by his mother Patricia; Tim is survived by his father, Donal; his son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Mikaela; his brother Michael; his sister Donna Sonday; his granddaughter Savannah, and a grandson on the way; and his nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Greg, Laura, Leon, Michelle and Lisa. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, December 19, 2025 from 10:00am until the time of service at 12:00pm at Tilghman Funeral Home 52 Main Street New Egypt, NJ 08533. Burial will follow in the Church of the Assumption Cemetery, New Egypt.
