Joseph R. Sibert, 88, of New Egypt, NJ passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 5th. Joseph was born in Trenton, NJ and remained in the Trenton area until moving to New Egypt in 2021. Joe spent his working years with a family garbage business, followed by work at J.P. O’Neill Kennels in Princeton. He is predeceased by his parents Clarence Sibert Sr. and Anna Samonsky Sibert, his sister Jane and Doris, and his brothers John and Clarence Jr. (Buck). He is survived by his nephew John and his wife Kim Sibert and family with whom he resided, a sister and many nieces and nephews. Joseph found joy in people-watching, taking walks around Columbus Market and he had a special love for all animals. Joe will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him. Memorial services will be held privately by the family. All arrangements are under the direction of Tilghman Funeral Home located in New Egypt, NJ.
