Obituary of Peter J. Turner

Peter J. Turner, age 65, resident of Jackson, formerly of New Egypt, passed away on March 2, 2026 at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus in Lakewood, NJ. He was born on July 7, 1960 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts to John and Carolyn Turner.
Pete was a board member of the New Egypt Methodist Church, and also a member of the New Egypt, Volunteer Fire Company. He worked at Home Depot in Howell, Walmart of East Windsor, and JC Penny’s at the Quakerbridge Mall. Pete trained his Standardbred race horse “Princess Sunshine” at Stanley Dancer Stables in New Egypt. He cherished his wife, children, grandchildren, and loved his brother-in-law like his own brother. Pete enjoyed watching the Washington Redskins, New York Mets, and Star Trek. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend that will be deeply missed.
Pete is predeceased by his father, John Turner; and his brother, Paul Turner. He leaves behind his wife of 45 years, Angie Turner (nee Rodriguez) of Jackson, NJ; his two children, Melissa Revinski and her husband Tom of Levittown, PA, and Kyle Turner and his wife Kaitlin of Ivyland, PA; his grandchildren, Luke, Henry, and Scarlett Revinski, and Kieran Turner, his mother, Carolyn Turner of Babylon, NY; his brother, John Turner and Michelle of West Babylon, NY; his brother-in-laws, Rick Rodriguez and his wife Deanna of New Egypt, NJ, Angelo Rodriquez and Natalie of Key Port, NJ; and his two nieces, Jenna and Julia.
Services for Pete are being held privately at the family’s convenience. All arrangements are under the direction of Tilghman Funeral Home located in New Egypt, NJ.
