Obituary of Helen Louise Letts

Helen Louise Letts, age 63, passed away on March 23, 2026. Born on July 29, 1962 and raised in Jackson, New Jersey, Helen graduated from Jackson Memorial High School. She was best known for her years bartending at local establishments, where she became many people’s favorite bartender. She had a natural way with people and spent most of her life in service roles, including working at her sister Nancy’s pizzeria and most recently at Devine Pizza. She also ran her own landscaping business and loved being outdoors. Helen had a competitive and fearless side, winning multiple demolition derbies and bowling trophies. She enjoyed staying active, spending time outside, attending concerts, and riding motorcycles. Helen lived life her way—carefree, fun-loving, and always surrounded by people who adored her. She was spunky, funny, and deeply loving—never one to sugarcoat anything, but always someone you could count on. Though she never married or had children of her own, she claimed all of us. She leaves behind a large and devoted family, including 18 nieces and nephews, 26 great-nieces and nephews, and 5 great-great-nieces and nephews. She passed peacefully, surrounded by family, in a room filled with love, laughter, and tears, after spending her final weekend doing what she loved most—being with family. Helen was predeceased by her parents, Ruth and Raymond Letts, and her sisters Nancy, Cindy, and Susan. She is survived by her siblings: Howard Letts III (Spud), Theresa Price, Kim Greenhalgh, and William Letts. Cremation is private however a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and announced to family and friends.
