I remember Ray who served as Deacon during my days at Saint Raphael. He was a great guy filled with love forf his family, his community and the Church. During my early days of priesthood he was a beacon of light and a man of common sense.

Bill was such a wonderful Brother in law. Him and Joyce used to come spend the month of March with us in Florida. I always looked forward to that visit. He will be missed.

Q: How would you describe Raymond to someone who had never met them?
A: The best description of my uncle I can think of, is Engaging. All my life i never saw him without a smile. With a charm and wit that made you happy every time you saw him. An intelligent, responsible husband and father and grandfather, but always that fun person with a incredible sense of humor that not only his peers, but his children, grandchildren, as well as us nephews and nieces enjoyed being around. He was that fun uncle to me. A man who would strike up a conversation with you, not just to make small talk, but because he genuinely cared. He cared what his family was doing and what was going on in their lives. He never wasted all the decades with my Aunt Joyce as well as all his sons. He never lost his love of life and lived it to its fullest.

I am so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. He and I went to Hamilton High West and graduated together. I remember the
wonderful time we had on our Washington, DC trip.
We saw each other many years after graduation when I worked for the Hamilton Township Police Department and he had come into the station.
He was a wonderful father, husband and excellent law enforcement officer.
It is so sad to lose your father, but he will always be with you through your cherished memories. RIP Ray,
Connie Cileo Otter

Q: Where did Raymond like to travel?
A: He loved to travel with his family up and down the East coast, from Vermont to Florida, and my family (the McNelis’) was there with them many times.
The attached photo is of the Staub family when we all caravan’d down to Disney World in the early 80’s.
