Mary B. (nee Brenner) Pullen, age 96, longtime resident of Allentown, formerly of Mercerville, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on May 4, 1929 in Trenton, NJ to the late David and Mary Brenner. Mary was an active member of the New Egypt and Cookstown United Methodist Church. She always volunteered for the church suppers. Mary was also an active member of the North Hanover Seniors and Mercerville Ladies Auxiliary. She was a secretary for the Upper Freehold School District for 25 years before retiring. She liked playing bingo, mahjongg, hand and foot, and taking bus trips with her senior group. She loved spending summers on the beach at the Jersey Shore. Mary found joy in knitting and crocheting clothes and blankets, especially baby hats. She was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking and baking. Mary loved being a grandmother and spending time with her family. She always tried being a part of her children’s activities. Mary liked her dogs Toby, and Candy. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mary is predeceased by beloved husband, Royce W. Pullen, Sr., her granddaughter, Kristen Leigh Pullen, her parents, David and Mary (nee Millard) Brenner, and her daughter-in-law, MaryAnn Pullen; her brother Richard Brenner and sister-in-law Jean Brenner. She leaves behind her two son, Royce W. Pullen, Jr., and Wayne Pullen; her grandchildren, Eric Pullen, Wayne D. Pullen and his wife Katie, Mitchel Dey, and Troy Dey; her great-granddaughter, Cameron; and her sister -in-law Irene Pullen. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, April 6, 2026 from 5 PM to 7 PM at Tilghman Funeral Home located at 52 Main Street New Egypt, NJ 08533 with a funeral service starting at 7 PM. Interment will be private for family only at Greenwood Cemetery Hamilton Twp, NJ.
