Raquel Morfin, age 90, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2026, at her home in Pasco, Washington, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on January 5, 1936, in La Campana, Jalisco, Mexico, to Julio Magaña Valencia and Emilia Preciado Valencia. Raquel was a woman of deep faith, devotion, and grace. A faithful churchgoer, she held a special devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe and found great peace and comfort in praying the Rosary. Her faith guided her life and served as an example to all who knew and loved her. She found joy in life’s simple blessings. She loved gardening, growing flowers, and caring for the beauty around her. Her favorite colors, blue and salmon, reflected her gentle and vibrant spirit. Raquel’s greatest joy was her family. She is lovingly survived by her children: Salvador, Ercelia, Santiago, Maria, Jose, Guadalupe, Javier, Manuel, Teresa, Martin, and Bertha; 46 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry forward her legacy of love, strength, and faith. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Santiago Morfin Solario, and by her cherished children, Arcelia and Angel. Raquel will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her loving heart, and the warmth she brought to those around her. Her kindness, wisdom, and devotion to her family created a legacy that will live on forever. Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds peace in knowing she is now resting in the loving presence of the Lord. Her memory will live on always in the prayers she taught, the flowers she nurtured, and the love she so freely gave.
