Rachel M. Healey, age 52, of New Egypt passed away Sunday, December 25 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Princeton, she lived in New Egypt for the past 30 years. Rachel was a 1982 graduate of Hightstown High School. She was employed for many years as a school bus driver for the Plumsted Township Board of Education. Rachel later worked at Kube-Pak Nurseries in Allentown and also at Laurita Winery in New Egypt. She was a loving wife and mother and enjoyed spending her free time on the beaches of the Jersey Shore. Rachel is survived by her husband of 30 years, Kevin Healey; her two sons and their fiancées; Kyle Healey and Rachel Thomas and Robert “RJ” Healey and Katelyn Hines all of New Egypt; her parents, Robert and Marie Hulick of The Villages, FL; a brother, Bryan Hulick of Jacksonville, FL; a sister, Valerie Krantz of The Villages, FL and many aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Rachel will be held on Thursday, December 29 at 8:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533 (www.TilghmanFH.com). Calling hours will be on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Rachel’s memory may be made to Susan G. Komen for The Cure (ww5.komen.org).
