Dorothy I. Eldridge of North Hanover Twp. passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at home. She was 66. Born in Trenton, she was raised in Mercerville before moving to North Hanover Twp. She was a former member of the Eastern Star. She did arts and crafts in her in her spare time, she was an avid bird watcher and was an active donor to the Big Cats Rescue. Dorothy was the daughter of the late, Charles and Dorothy (Van Hise) Bryan and sister to the late Charles and William Bryan. Dorothy is survived by her husband , Robert J. Eldridge of North Hanover Twp.; 2 sons, Justin and his friend, Cheri of Bordentown and SSGT. Thomas Eldridge of Spring Lake, NC; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Edwin and Pat Bryan of the Outer Banks, NC and David and Kathleen Bryan of Mays Landing and one granddaughter, Summer of Bordentown. Funeral Services for Dorothy will be held 10 am, Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main St., New Egypt, N.J. 08533 (www.tilghmanfh.com). Burial will follow in the Brig. Gen. Wm. C . Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Monday evening June 10 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
