Linda M. (nee Johnson) Thompson, age 58, of Tallahassee, FL died Thursday, June 6 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Born at Fort Dix, NJ, she was a resident of Tallahassee since 1982, Thomasville, GA from 1980-1982 and a resident of Cream Ridge, NJ prior to moving south. Linda was a graduate of Allentown, NJ High School. She had worked as a 911 dispatcher for the Thomasville, GA Police Department. Linda enjoyed singing and playing the guitar. She was predeceased by her mother, Shirley A. (nee Varner) Johnson. Linda is survived by her daughter, Carren Pastrana of Tallahassee; her father, Donald Johnson of Coolidge, GA; two brothers, Clifford Johnson of Lakewood, NJ and Keene Johnson of Tallahassee; a grandson, Santiago Pastrana and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services for Linda will be held on Thursday, June 13 at 11:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com), with burial to follow in Cream Ridge Cemetery in Cream Ridge. Calling hours will be on Wednesday evening, June 12 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
