Wilbur J. Wheeler, age 78, of Browns Mills died Wednesday, October 9 at Capital Health in Trenton. Born in West Stewartstown, NH, he was a longtime resident of Browns Mills. Wilbur retired as a Master Sgt. from the US Air Force after 20 years of service. After his retirement from the Air Force he worked in Civil Service at McGuire AFB and then drove a truck for Linden Bulk Carriers for 10 years. Wilbur enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by five children; Robert Wheeler and wife Lauren of Country Lakes, Amanda Wheeler and fiancé Eric Castillo of Browns Mills and Buddy Wheeler, Sandy Wheeler and Sara Wheeler all of Spokane, WA; a sister, Ruth Pineo of Colebrook, NH and two grandchildren, Wyatt John Wheeler and Emma Rose Castillo. A memorial gathering to celebrate Wilbur's life will be held on Saturday, October 12 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com).
