Kenneth C. Breese, age 91, of Cream Ridge died Tuesday, May 13 at home. Born in Hightstown, he previously lived in Jamesburg, Whiting and Florida before moving to Cream Ridge 7 years. Ken served in the US Army during World War II and was a retired carpenter with the Carpenters Union Local in New Brunswick. He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth “Betty” Breese in 2010 and by a sister, Alberta Hagerty. Ken is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Joann & Ken Bach of New Egypt, Betty & Ken Corley of Cummings, GA and Kim & Ward Horner of Jackson; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth & Karoline Breese of Monroe Twp; a sister, Ida Gilbert of Arizona; a brother, Thompson Breese of Florida; three grandchildren, Thomas Mount, Christine DiBenedetto and Ken Breese and two great grandchildren, Thomas Mount and Chase DiBenedetto. A viewing for Ken will be held on Monday, May 19 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com). Interment services and burial will take place on Wednesday, May 21 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road in Wrightstown.
