Christine A. Petty, age 91, of West Milford, NJ passed away Thursday, January 22 at Milford Manor in West Milford. Born in Newark, she was a resident of Paterson and Berkeley Township before moving to West Milford in 2008.
Christine enjoyed gardening.
She was predeceased by her husband, Henry John Petty. Christine is survived by five children, Patricia Vassallo of New Cumberland, PA, Christine Ann Vonderheyden and husband Paul of Hillsborough, NJ, Henry Richard Petty of Hamburg, NJ, Jane Inserra and husband Michael of Clifton, NJ and Marlene Leyden of Jefferson Twp., NJ; nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Christine will be held on Monday, February 2 at 1:30 PM at the Chapel of the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562. Calling hours will be on Monday morning from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533 (www.tilghmanfh.com).
