John Koveleski III, 65, of Jackson passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on June 3, 2015. Born in Trenton to the late John and Katherine Koveleski, he spent a majority of his life in New Egypt before moving to Jackson 20 years ago. He was a member of the Laborers Union Local 172 in Bordentown and worked for Stella Contracting in land clearing. John enjoyed hunting, fishing in the ocean and crabbing. He also held great joy in entertaining at the family reunions. He was a loving husband, dad and friend who will be deeply missed.
John is predeceased by his parents and two siblings; Bernard Koveleski and Rosemary Hurley.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 45 years Diane Koveleski (Hughes) of Jackson NJ, his step mother Caroline Koveleski of Wagner SC, his son John Koveleski IV and wife Karen of Shelby NC, his daughter Pamela Nussbaum and husband Jesse of St. Marys PA, six grandchildren; John Koveleski V, Tessa Koveleski, Nicole Koveleski, Cody Nussbaum, Dylan Nussbaum and Colt Nussbaum, his sister Alice Lewis of Cream Ridge, his brother Patrick Koveleski of Little Egg Harbor, step brother Douglas Allen of Wagner, SC, brother-in-law Gary Hurley of Browns Mills, sister-in-law Debbie Locklear of New Egypt, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, June 6, 2015 from 2PM to 5PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533 (Tilghmanfh.com). A funeral service will be held at 5PM with interment being held private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in John’s memory to Vitas Hospice, 521 Fellowship Rd., Suite 110, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054.
