Carolyn J. Bishop, age 75, of Millville, PA (formerly of New Egypt) passed away Monday, June 15 at Geisinger Medical Center in Bloomsburg, PA surrounded by her loving family. Born in New Egypt, she lived there until moving to Arizona for 12 years, then to Wrightstown for a year and finally to Millville, PA for the past 4 years. Carolyn had worked for Hartman’s Pharmacy in New Egypt for many years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed her Kindle. She was predeceased by her son, Edward “Eddie” Bishop in 2001. She is survived by four daughters, Donna Carroll and husband Raymond of Wrightstown, Jeanne Muller of Millville, PA, Brenda Errickson and husband Kenneth of Monticello, ME and Lynn Winkowski of Wrightstown; seven grandchildren, Tammy Harker, Jennifer Harker, Christine Smith, James Errickson, John Bishop, Andrew Winkowski and Shawn Winkowski; ten great grandchildren; two sisters, Marion Hance of New Egypt and Shirley Savage of Piscataway, NJ; a brother, Hilt Buckalew and wife Maude of New Egypt and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Carolyn will be held on Saturday, June 20 at 11:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com) with burial to follow in Jacobstown Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Saturday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Carolyn’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).
