Norman William "Billy" Liedtka, III, age 40, a lifelong New Egypt resident, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at RWJ Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. Billy was born in Freehold on February 17, 1984 to Norman Jr. and Susan Liedtka. He was a heavy equipment operator for Local 825 for 22 years. Billy loved to hunt and fish, he enjoyed camping trips with his family, but his favorite pastime was being a racecar driver. Billy won many trophies and championships as Wild Bill Liedtka #310 at New Egypt Speedway. Predeceased by his dad, Norman Jr; Billy is survived by his mom, Susan; his wife of 7 years, Jessica; his daughter Maddie; his sisters, Sandy and Karen; and his nephews, Bryce and Travis; as well as his aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends that were family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Friday, June 28, 2024 from 4:00pm until 9:00pm at Tilghman Funeral Home 52 Main Street New Egypt, NJ. A Celebration of Billy’s life will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at the New Egypt Elks Lodge #2457 105 Lakewood Rd.
