Obituary of Deborah S. Ciccarelli

Deborah “Debbie” Sue Ciccarelli (née Queen), of Leesburg, VA passed away after a long illness on Saturday, August 13, 2016, surrounded by her children at Lourdes Medical Center in Willingboro, NJ. She was 58 years old.
Debbie was born to parents Lilly and Clifford Queen on December 18, 1957 in Baltimore, MD. She was one of four children.
Debbie married David Ciccarelli in 1981 and the couple enjoyed living in various parts of the country until they settled in Virginia. Debbie attended Craven Community College in New Bern, NC where she earned an Associates degree in Business. In 1994 the couple joyfully expanded their family by adopting four siblings from Russia. In addition to being a fulltime, hands-on Mom, Debbie cofounded and was a vice president at Loudoun Management Associates from 1997 to 2012. Debbie was an accomplished cook, avid hiker and classic movie enthusiast.
Debbie is survived by her mother and step-father, Lilly and Harry Lowman; her father, Clifford Queen Sr., her two sisters: Regina Braun, Sherri Bell; her four children: Tatyana Ciccarelli, Katerina Ciccarelli-Dyke, Alexander Ciccarelli, and Ksenia Ciccarelli-Aldaco, her grand-daughter Audrey Sue Dyke, as well as her former husband David Ciccarelli and many aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Clifford Queen Jr.
At Debbie’s request, no funeral services will be held. A private family memorial will take place at the top of her favorite hiking mountain in Shenandoah, Virginia.
The family is grateful for the condolences, but declines flowers. Memorial contributions are welcome and should be made in memory of Debbie to the National Stroke Association website http://www.stroke.org/.
