Obituary of Joan Francis

Joan Bennett-Francis, age 69, of New Egypt NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 3rd in Patchogue NY. She was born in Flushing NY to the late Thomas and Nora Bennett. Joan was dedicated to her adored husband and to her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be deeply missed.

Joan is returning home to be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Earl Francis who passed in 2003. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her two brothers, Tommy Bennett and James Bennett.

Joan leaves behind her daughter, Colleen Gannon and husband Joe of Southampton PA; her grandson Joseph Gannon; her loving sister Mary Thomson; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, June 10th at 1pm for a graveside service at Emley’s Hill Cemetery, located at 69 Emleys Hill Road, Cream Ridge, NJ 08514. All services are under the direction of the Tilghman Funeral Home, New Egypt NJ.
