R.I.P. My Beautiful Bubala. Sorry I could not make it up to see you before you left this world, by the time I found out from Willie, it was too late to make up to N.J. My deepest condolences goes out to Maritza's family(Diego, her children, her brothers John & Pancho, her sisters Susanna & Maria and their families Chico etc). You will be sorely missed. Diego Ruben Jessica and Victoria......I just saw this.....I was trying to find you on FB. I am so very sorry. You are one if the very few families I remember with love from military days at McGuire. Diego...I remember the sparkle in Your eyes dancing with each other at your family events. Maritza and her big smile and ridiculous culinary skills and her cracking up every time Ruben made comments about how great my burnt biscuits were. So sorry for your loss. I have worked at discovery school for 15 years and although I never worked with her, her reputation as a great teacher superseeded her everyone knew her one way or another and just loved her

Mrs. Villabla was an amazing woman. She was one my favorite teachers in Elementry school. I struggled with reading and she worked with me day in and day out. She assured me that if I kept trying and took my time my reading would improve. She was right. Reading is now my favorite past time,and I have her to thank for that. I will never forget her.

In life you're lucky if you are able to count your best friend on one hand and I can say Maritza was and always will be my best friend for life. I am so happy to be able to have so many happy wonderful memories of her that I will cherish and hold close to my heart . She was the most loving person and I will miss her dearly. Rest In Peace my dear dear friend .

I remember a story Maritza told me once about the time she was leaving the mall and got into her van. She smelled chicken when she got in, and then realized she was in the wrong car and the owners were sitting in the back eating chicken. She made me laugh over and over again. I am so saddened by this news. God Bless you my friend, and rest in peace. You will be missed.❤️

Maritza taught across the hall from me at Atlantis School. I could hear her and the children reciting Spanish lessons. The students always seemed to enjoy her class. She was constantly a source of humorous stories and laughter, and always had a smile on her lovely face. She dearly loved her children and were very proud of their accomplishments. She will be missed.
