Obituary of Albert A. Pingitor

Albert “Al” Pingitor, age 73, of Wrightstown passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Thomas Jefferson Univ. Hospital in PA. He was born in Trenton to the late Albert T. and Jennie L. (Valentino) Pingitor.  From the age of 16, Al went to work for DeLorenzo's as a cook and remained committed to them for the past 56 years. He was a graduate of Trenton Catholic HS, Class of '62 and Al also served in the Army Reserves.  Al was extremely dedicated to his work, his wife and his entire family. He was very involved with the Calvary Tabernacle UPCI in Wrightstown and was never without a smile. Al was very giving, loyal, kind and lovable. He loved his Raiders and the Flyers, had a one in a million sense of humor and was known for his laidback nature. Al was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be deeply missed. Al has left us but he will be "Ooookayyy!!"

Albert is predeceased by his parents. He leaves behind his adored wife of 32 years Debra (Hathazi) Pingitor of Wrightstown; his 3 children, William A. Pingitor and wife Irene of Anaheim CA, Michele Kiewlak and husband Rick of Fairless Hills PA, Lori Nelson and husband Danny of Wrightstown; his 4 siblings, Thomas Pingitor and wife Donna, Michael Pingitor and wife Susan, Larry Pingitor and wife Maryann, Jeanie Alton and husband David; 4 grandchildren, Leah, Kenny, Eric and Allison; brother-in-laws, Alfred Smith and wife Diane and John Smith; and several nieces, nephews, friends and of course his dog Sadie.

Relatives and friend are invited to gather on Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 4PM to 5:30PM at the Calvary Tabernacle UPCI, located at 128 Georgetown-Wrightstown Rd., Wrightstown NJ 08562. A funeral service will begin at 5:30PM. Interment will be private. All arrangements are under the direction of the Tilghman Funeral Home, New Egypt NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Al’s memory to the Special Olympics New Jersey, 1 Eunice Kennedy Shriver Way, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
