Robert G. Rhodes, age 48, formerly of New Egypt died Friday, August 24 at Crystal Lake Healthcare in Bayville. Born at Fort Dix, he had been a lifetime area resident before moving to Bayville recently. Son of the late Dona Rhodes; Robert is survived by his father, George Rhodes of St. Petersburg, FL; a brother, Wayne Rhodes of Willingboro; two sisters, Patricia Rhodes of Pemberton Twp. and Sandra Rhodes of Wrightstown; several aunts and uncles; four nieces and nephews, Shawn Rhodes, Jennifer Dootson, Joshua Hogan and Eric Hewlitt and two great nieces. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 29 at 1:00 PM at the Jacobstown Cemetery on Schoolhouse Road in Jacobstown with Pastor Kim Wecht, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com).
