Elizabeth A. Ryba, age 86, of Wrightstown, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly. She was born in Trenton to the late Kenneth F. and Elizabeth R. Worthington. Elizabeth worked for Opinion Research in Princeton for 40 years before retiring and then worked for the North Hanover Police Dept. as a clerk for 10 years. Elizabeth was a member of the North Hanover Seniors, the Young at Heart Senior Citizen Group of Wrightstown/Cookstown and a very active member of the Red Hat Jersey Girls. She enjoyed going to the beach, going out to dinner and traveling. Elizabeth especially loved spending time with her family and her kitty, Smokey. She was a loving wife, sister, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed.
Elizabeth is predeceased by her parents, Kenneth F. and Elizabeth R. Worthington (nee Bargholz); her adored husband John Ryba; and her brother Kenneth C. Worthington, Sr. She leaves behind her five nieces and nephews, Susanne Worthington and husband Frank Czepiga, Carole Hewins and husband David, Kenneth C. Worthington, Jr. and wife Sara, Lisa Vowell and husband Terry and Tammy Raipen and husband Ed; along with numerous great nieces and nephews, special loved ones and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from 9AM to 11AM at the Church of the Assumption RC – Chapel, located at 76 Evergreen Road, New Egypt NJ 08533. A funeral mass will begin at 11AM, with interment to follow at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Elizabeth’s memory to a charity close to your heart. All arrangements are under the direction of the Tilghman Funeral Home, New Egypt NJ.
