Obituary of Marie L. Seeds

Marie Lela Seeds, age 90, of New Egypt, passed away on September 8, 2018 at the Bartley Healthcare Nursing Home.  Marie was born in Browns Mills on October 25, 1927, grew up in Cookstown, and was a long time resident of New Egypt.  Marie was baptized in the Cookstown Methodist Church, married in the New Egypt Methodist Church, and at various times over the years attended services at both.  In addition over the years, she also attended services at the New Egypt Presbyterian Church.  Marie was also a long time active member of the Ladies Auxiliary units of the New Egypt Volunteer Fire Department and the American Legion Post 455.

Marie was predeceased by her husband Edgar S. Seeds Sr., a son Edgar S. Seeds Jr., a daughter-in-law Barbara Preston-Seeds, a daughter Linda Seeds-Vaughan, a son-in-law Charles Vaughan Sr., a granddaughter Cheryl Seeds, and a grandson Robert Ensinger.  She is survived by a son Dennis J. Seeds and his wife Stephanie A. Seeds of Toms River, a daughter Mary Seeds-Ensinger-Harriger and her husband Robert Harriger of Huntsville AL, a daughter-in-law Beth Seeds of Lewes DE, nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Per Marie's wishes, cremation, burial and any services are private.
