Obituary of Jerry J. Wilson
Jerry J. Wilson, age 54, a lifelong resident of Browns Mills, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Samaritan Hospice in Mount Holly, NJ. He was born in Cherry Hill, NJ to the late Edgar and Florence Wilson on November 22, 1964. Jerry worked as a custodian for Pemberton Township Schools for many years. He enjoyed drawing and had a love for animals, especially dogs He also raised angora rabbits and fantail and fancy pigeons. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Jerry is predeceased by his parents, Edgar A. and Florence E. Wilson (nee Pfeiffer) and brothers, Edgar “Eddie” Wilson, Jr. and Richard “Ricky” Wilson.
He leaves behind four siblings, Robert Wilson of Browns Mills, James G. Wilson and wife Diana of Browns Mills, Patricia Raines of Browns Mills and Joyce Willitts of Browns Mills; two sisters-in-law, Gladys Wilson of Maple Shade and Nancy Wilson of Minnesota; along with many nieces and nephews, his beloved dog Zena and many friends.
Services for Jerry are being held private at the convenience of the family. All arrangements are under the direction of the Tilghman Funeral Home, New Egypt NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jerry’s honor to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
