Obituary of Wesley S. Grant, Sr.

Wesley S. Grant, Sr., age 79, a lifelong resident of the area, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 8, 2019, at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly. He was born in New Egypt, NJ, on June 20, 1940, to the late Winfield and Edna Grant. Wesley worked as a truck driver for Belasco Petroleum Company until his retirement. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors gardening, hunting, and fishing.  His greatest past time was to be with his grandchildren. They truly were his pride and joy.

                       

Wesley is predeceased by his beloved wife, Joan E. Grant, his parents, and his sister, Helen Matthews.

 

He leaves behind his son and two daughters:  Wesley S. Grant Jr. of Allentown; Janice and Charles Kemble of Jacobstown; and Debra Grant and

John Augustine of Bordentown; four grandchildren:  Dawn Kemble, Ian Grant, and John & Alex Augustine; three great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Janet Dixon, Linda & John Ingalls, and Dianne Sanders; along with many nieces and nephews.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, July 12, 2019, from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
