Obituary of Gwendolyn Dively
Gwendolyn “Gwen” Dively, age 65, of Browns Mills and a lifelong area resident, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Samaritan Hospice in Mount Holly. She was born in Mount Holly on July 6, 1954. Gwen graduated from Pemberton Township High School in 1972 . She worked as a Unit Secretary/ Certified Nursing Aide for Whiting Health Care Center for several years. Gwen enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City, playing bingo, visits to the ocean and reading. She spent a lot of her free time doing crossword puzzles, sewing, and word searches. One of Gwen’s favorite pastimes was being with her dogs. She loved her Beagles and all other animals; the only thing she loved more was her family. Gwen was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Gwen leaves behind her three daughters, Courtney Stelmach and husband George of Browns Mills, Dawn Haines and significant other Chris Munro of Pemberton and Heather Scull and husband Alan of Cookstown; nine adored grandchildren, Andrew, Rebecca and husband Troy, Ashley and significant other Justin, Matthew and fiancé Cheyenne, Brenda, Joseph III, Tyler, Gage and Aaron; five great-grandchildren, Kylie, Aubrey, Rylee, Jordan and Harper; and two great-grandchildren on the way, Jaxson and Kaleb.
Services for Gwen are going to be held at her daughter Courtney’s house, located at 46 Leland Street, Browns Mills, NJ 08015, on Saturday, September 28th, 2019 from 4-8 pm. The celebration of life service will be a pot luck so everyone bring a dish and lets reminisce about the good times we had with Gwen.
