Obituary of Corey Wayne Pritchett

Please share a memory of Corey to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Corey Wayne Pritchett, age 31, of Cookstown, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 9, 2020. He was born on February 28, 1988, along with his twin brother, Casey in Philadelphia, PA to Carey and Twila Pritchett. Corey was born a fighter, weighing only 1lb 10oz, beating the odds and giving his family and friends thirty one amazing years of his love and laughter. Growing up as a lifelong area resident, Corey enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as working out. Always looking for new adventures. He was unpredictable, selfless and caring. Corey loved spending time with his family and most importantly loved being with his boys. He was a loving son, who kept his parents on their toes. A loving father who adored his boys. A loving brother who just loved Stephen and Casey so much, there are no words. Although he is no longer here, the memories he’s left behind can be held in your hearts forever. Corey leaves behind his parents, Carey and Twila Pritchett of Cookstown; his two sons, Forrest and Cullen both of North Hanover; his brothers, Stephen Hacker and his wife Michelle of Bordentown and Casey Pritchett and his wife Kasey of North Hanover. Corey also leaves behind several special aunts and uncles; his cousins who were like brother and sisters to him; his nieces and nephews, who he thought hung the moon. His dog man companion Murphy; and two very important people his Aunt Helene and Donna Wertz. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Sunday, February 16, 2020 form 1PM to 4PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt NJ 08533. A memorial service will begin at 4PM. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations for Corey’s sons. Donations can be made to the Cullen Pritchett Fund, 94 Jacobstown-New Egypt Road, Wrightstown NJ 08562 or through Venmo @ Casey-Pritchett-64. There will be a reception following the service at the Cookstown VFW Post 6590. A time for all to share their memories of Corey with the family.
