I was a Child Study Team Secretary at New Hanover Township School back in the early 80's for 3 year's before moving to Florida n have nothing but great memories of Sam n his wife Florence who sat in front of me at her desk. He was a great sweet man n will be missed by all.

Mr. Marshall was an amazing person. Growing up he was always fixing something. We, Jen and I, had the best Summers in the pool and riding around on the “mini bike” that he built. I loved him like he was my own Dad. RIP Mr. Marshall AKA my second Dad. You will be missed. ❤️

I was very sad to hear about the passing of Sam. I not only knew him from working as a teacher’s aide at New Hanover Twp. School but also as being residents who both lived on Platt Ave. in Wrightstown. When I would be outside working in my yard I would occasionally see him walking his dog and he would always stop by and say hello. We would have such pleasant conversations. He was truly one of the nicest men I have ever met. I would also see him occasionally at Columbus Farmer’s Market where we would also have great conversations. He was actually the one who encouraged me to get my Black Seal which I now have so thank you so much for believing in me Mr. Marshall. RIP Sam and prayers for all his family and friends.

My heart is very saddened Sam was a great guy I worked with Sam at NewHanover School for several years I taught me a lot about the building and things I know today I will never forget one day in the summer when a bat got in the school and was chasing Sam down the hallway I never knew he could run so fast then me and him went looking for it and we looked like the ghostbusters going down the hallway to this day I laugh and tell that story he will be greatly missed.
