Eleanor A. Dilts (Letts), age 52, of Jackson died Wednesday, January 9 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Lakewood, she was a lifetime area resident except for a short stay in Virginia and Alaska. Eleanor was employed as a clerk at Ridgeway Liquors in Manchester and was formerly a bartender at the Cassville Tavern in Cassville. She was a member of the Cassville Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. Eleanor is survived by three sons, Keith Letts of Jackson, Kevin Letts & wife Melissa of New Egypt and Howard Letts IV of Jackson; a daughter, Brenda Letts of Yardville; two brothers, Joey Dilts of Cookstown and Hugh Byrne, Jr. of Florida; a sister, Hazel Skinner of North Carolina and six grandchildren, Charlene & Earl Young, Hayley, Madison & Delani Letts and Blake Letts. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 13 at 8:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com). Calling hours will be on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
